Lindie Venter is a Senior Lecturer of Financial Reporting. She obtained Bachelor of Commerce in Chartered Accountancy and Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Chartered Accountancy with distinction from the North-West University at the end of 2011 and 2012 respectively. Following the completion of her training in practice at the end of 2014, she registered with SAICA as a CA(SA).
Lindie completed her first year of training as an academic trainee at the North-West University. She also obtained a Master of Commerce in South African and International Taxation degree from the North-West University at the end of 2014. After completing the remainder of her articles with PwC South Africa, she accepted an international secondment whereby she continued to work in practice from 2015 up to the end of 2017 with a large focus on the banking and financial sector.
Lindie has been teaching financial accounting as a senior lecturer at the North-West University across various programmes and levels since 2018, after which she joined Milpark. One of Lindie’s favourite quotes by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is ‘A goal without a plan is just a wish’.
